Glendale Police responded immediately to the area of 5700 West Glenn Drive upon receiving a report of a stabbing incident. At around 8 p.m. on December 13, the officers searched the area and found a man with a stab wound in his body.
The victim told the police officers during the initial investigation that he was just out jogging when the suspect confronted and attacked him and eventually stabbed him. The wounded victim has no idea what led to the stabbing incident. The severity of the victim’s injuries was not specified by the police officers.
Before the officers arrived, the suspect reportedly fled the scene and was not identified. Luckily, the police found his wallet nearby containing his ID. The suspect was then identified as Jerome Pipkins, 28 years old.
