Three persons were shot inside their SUV outside a petrol station near the Medical Center neighborhood on Sunday morning, according to police.
The gunfire started in the 6500 block of Main Street. Shortly after 5 a.m., the victims drove to a petrol station in the 6700 block of Greenbriar near Holcombe in the Medical Center neighborhood.
According to officials, the car was travelling at a fast rate of speed when an officer from the Texas Medical Center police department observed it. They were eventually flagged down and summoned for aid.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet unknown.
One woman was shot in the back, one male was wounded in the arm, and another man was grazed, according to police. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where the woman is still in serious condition.
