A Cohasset, Massachusetts man was found dead on the side of the road early Saturday morning, according to local police, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

A Massachusetts man was found dead on the side of the road early Saturday morning, according to Cohasset police.
The 40-year-old Massachusetts man was initially discovered by a dog walker at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, who was unsure if the man was alive or deceased. After a 911 call was made, the Cohasset police arrived on the scene and confirmed that the Massachusetts man was, in fact, dead.
According to Fox News, at this stage of their investigation, the Cohasset Police Department believes that there is no foul play involved in the Massachusetts man’s death.
“There is no initial indication of foul play, and residents are not in danger,” the department wrote on Facebook.

Authorities Schedule Autopsy
The body of the Massachusetts man has been taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office has also assigned state troopers to investigate the Massachusetts man’s death, alone with Cohasset detectives. Currently, the man’s name has not been released.
Cohasset is a small seaside town with a population of fewer than 9,000 residents. This news comes on the heels of a recent indictment of Brian Walshe, husband of Ana Walshe, who has been missing since January 1.
Though nobody has been recovered, Brian Walshe has been indicted by a Massachusetts grand jury for his alleged involvement in his wife’s murder. It is not determined if the two cases are related.
The Cohasset Police Department has not released any additional information about the Massachusetts man at this time. The investigation into the Massachusetts man’s death is ongoing, and more details may emerge as the investigation continues.
