A Boerne area music school owner as well as a member of a local church band have been arrested on child sex crime accusations. This is reported with Kendall and Bandera Counties. Gareth Goode, is also one of the band members of the St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne.
Shameful Series Of Allegations
Gareth Goode was put behind bars on Friday on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a little child along with indecency, indecent exposure, molestation and harassment. To think a member of the church would stoop this low is not just unimaginable but also disappointing. The mass is bound to think that no child is safe out there with men like him out in the open living with the common people masking their pervert desires.
This investigation had started back in June of 2021 when a woman had come forward and accused him, filing a report about a past sexual assault that he had done on the woman’s daughter. She had reported this incident at the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office. More solid information about this case hasn’t been released as of yet but an indictment has been filed as of the 10th of January, 2023 which states that these offenses and crimes happened as long ago as 2013.
Law enforcement officers connected with the Boerne police said that on Friday, the 27th of January, the officers were told of a suspected, Goode, wanted out of Bandera County. He was taken into custody and put behind bards in the 200 block of Shadywood without incident. He was then booked into the Kendall County Jail and his bond amount is set at $202,000 as shown by records and proven by reports.
Unguided And Usurping
There’s a website for his business that’s named Goode Music Inc., says very clearly that he offers music lessons for children and adults alike in the Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne and Leon Springs area. The music school and store are both located on Interstate 10 in Boerne. But a spokesperson reportedly said that he has never been an employee with Boerne ISD. He isn’t even listed as a certified teacher with the Texas Education Agency.
Goode however is one of the band members of the St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne. The church said it was aware of the allegations but did not immediately release more information because they were partly unsure of it and partly didn’t want to tarnish one of their members’ reputation by putting out any details immediately. This went on for a long period of time, exactly a decade, after which things have finally taken a turn for the better and the community can now breathe in peace, live free and stay less chaotic in their own heads.
The Boerne stated reportedly said that Goode was convicted before for driving while he was under the influence of alcohol. One incident had happened back in 1999 in McLennan County, and the other happened in 2011 in Bexar County, the newspaper reported.
