Police in San Antonio doesn’t know who shot and murdered a Texas lady when she was in a car traveling to see relatives for the holidays.
According to the San Antonio Express-News, Rayne Rice Silva, 27, was wounded in a drive-by shooting on Saturday when she was in a vehicle being driven by her husband on Interstate 10.
She was critically ill when she was taken to the hospital, and she passed away on Monday, according to Fox San Antonio.
According to Univision, she was shot in the head. No other travelers sustained injuries.
She was from Del Rio, which is roughly 150 miles west of San Antonio, according to The Express-News. She was visiting family for the holidays, according to a GoFundMe campaign set up to aid with her medical and funeral costs.
According to her GoFundMe page, she had two children, who were 4 and 1 year old. Her little firm, Nakomas Woodworking, which, according to its website, produces anything from cutting boards to kitchen cabinets, was co-owned by her and her husband.
The GoFundMe page reads, “Rayne was a terrific friend, unselfish, full of life and she committed her love to her children and husband.”
The inquiry is still underway. By calling (210) 224-7867, anybody with information may reach Crime Stoppers. In addition, they can visit the Crime Stoppers website or SMS CRIMES (274637).
