Stepson Brutally Kills His Stepfather On Christmas In Gilbert, Arizona
A police officers identified and recognized the suspect as Michael Kaser, 48 years old, was under arrest and charged after brutally murders his 80-year-old stepfather on Christmas.
As stated in a news release, the Gilbert Police officers received a call that a vehicle had backed into a home which is near Recker and Warner roads on December 25 at around 4:30 p.m. the officers reportedly discovered the victim with gunshot wounds inside the vehicle when they arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead.
According to a published post by True Crime Daily, court documents found by KSAZ-TV allege that Kaser, the victim’s stepson told the police that, he killed his stepfather and he should have killed him a long time ago.

Michael Kaser allegedly said to the authorities that he was on his way home from a Christmas gathering together with his stepfather and mother before the shooting. When they reached home, the man allegedly exited the vehicle, took a gun, and shot his 80 year old stepfather and his mother was uninjured.
As stated by the KSAZ, Kaser told the authorities that he put the vehicle in neutral and that it backed up and hit a neighborhood house. “Decades of alleged physical and emotional abuse,” as stated in reports, led Kaser to declare and stated that he was “done” with his stepfather.
Michael further stated that he thought about killing his stepfather for 20 years and nearly killed him on one previous occasion prior to this incident, the court documents specified, as KSAZ stated. Before the shooting, one witness allegedly witnessed a man kicking the vehicle and yelling, “I’m going to kill you.”
As stated in the records, Kaser was taken into custody on December 26 and retained into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of homicide and one count of weapons and explosives. KSAZ said that his bond was set at $1 million.
