A man victim of a drive-by shooting that happened near the Riverside neighborhood in Forth Worth died on Monday.
Just a few hours after police officials responded to the scene, Jesus Araujo, 34, died from gunshot wounds that hit his chest and right thigh. He was taken to the hospital but wasn’t able to survive, according to Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office records.
Police officers of Forth Worth responded to the incident in the 3400 block of Brown Avenue on Monday around 10:30 in the morning, Star Telegram reported.
According to dispatch reports, at least two shots were fired from a vehicle that injured and eventually killed Araujo.
The Fort Worth police have no other information regarding the drive-by shooting as of Thursday. Information whether the victim knew the shooter has not been determined. Police investigations are still ongoing and no arrests have been made as of the moment.
