The city-based police department is hunting down the suspect behind a gory slay attempt on a woman along Dunlap Street early Monday morning.
Sketchy reports had the victim stabbed on her face, shoulder and back by an assailant whose description as of press time has yet to be released by the Houston Police Department.
The initial investigation claimed that the victim knew her assailant, whom police said was with her moments before the incident. Sketchy as the report is, the HPD probers didn’t say whether there was any altercation that compelled the suspect to pull a bladed weapon to stab the victim several times.
As of the latest update, the victim is fighting for her dear life in the hospital, while the suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown.
