A primary school teacher just moved into his newly-acquired home when he gets a horrifying warning, prompting his friends to urge him to “move out.”
According to reports, a 32-year-old primary school teacher, Jonathan Lewis, had been checking for the plug of the fridge left by the previous house owners when he discovered that the underside of the stairs was plastered over.
He said he felt that “there was a vacuum beneath the stairs that had been plastered over.”
He took a hammer and punch through the plaster. He then “poked [his] hand through a fist-sized hole, flashed a light through, and there was a doll sitting there with a “welcome letter.”
The letter insinuated that the original owners had been killed because the “doll” didn’t like them. The letter also said that “she” hoped that the new owner had lots of knives because “she liked them.”
The full letter reads, “Dear reader/new house owner, Thank you so much for releasing me! My name is Emily, and I’d want to introduce myself. In 1961, my house’s original owners lived here. They had to go since I didn’t like them. All they did was sing and have a good time. It was revolting. I chose stabbing as their method of death, so I hope you have knives. I hope you get a good night’s sleep.”
His friends were so creeped out with the letter that they urged him to leave his new Walton home and put it back on the market, but Lewis laughed off the advice.
He said, “I’ll be honest, I found the whole thing hilarious. I’m quite sure I’d do the same thing.”
He also shared that the agent who showed him the place had already told him about the estate and the alleged incident in 1961, as mentioned in the letter.
