A 3-Year-old girl was fatally shot by a man, injuring 4 other siblings  in their own house

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY Police arrested the 20-year-old man after allegedly using a gun, killing a 3-year-old girl, and injuring four minors.

The police officers responded to a shooting incident, Wednesday, January 4 at approximately 10:51 a.m. at the 17900 block of Milroy Drive. They received several calls from the people in the shooting area after receiving a call from someone calling saying they had been shot.

The officer from the Dumfries Police Department found a victim outside the residence and discovered four more victims in the basement. The names of the victims were not released but they were identified as siblings; a 17-year-old female, a 16-year-old female, a 14-year-old female,  a 14-year-old male, and a 3-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the crime scene. The other four victims were immediately taken to a nearby hospital committing serious life-threatening injuries.

The person of interest was identified as Kenyatta Oglesby, a 20-year-old man who was dating one of the victims. He was staying at the Milroy Drive residence. During the initial investigation, Oglesby allegedly shot his 17-year-old girlfriend during an argument injuring the four other siblings. The police found him near the scene and were detained. The police said Oglesby was uncooperative during the investigation and that they could not determine the reason that led up to the shooting. Two firearms were reportedly located during the investigation. The report said that the officers also found a 13-year-old in the home but was not injured.
The suspect, Oglesby was arrested and was charged with four counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of murder, and five counts of using a firearm. He was taken into police custody and was held with no bond.
