A 19-year-old man who was previously convicted and imprisoned for stabbing to death his mother when he was just 13 years old has been indicted and charged with manufacturing a weapon in jail, as stated by the TCD.

Ike Souzer was first arrested in 2017 after police answered and responded to a Garden Grove home on the 11000 block of Gilbert Road to a report of a fatal stabbing, as the KTLA-television reported. Outside the house, Ike Souzer’s 47-year-old mother was reportedly found covered in her blood and with multiple stomach stab wounds.

According to a published post by True Crime Daily, as soon as Ike Souzer was 15 years old, he allegedly fled custody from a halfway house while in GPS surveillance, approximately two years later. As KTLA stated, the boy was a pending trial for fatally stabbing his mother. Souza was reportedly taken into custody once more after being discovered at an Anaheim homeless camp.
