Carlos Jones from Florida has been booked for shooting his former girlfriend at least 15 times. The primary reason behind this act was that she stopped replying to his messages and calls.
Florida Man Shoots His Former Girlfriend Mercilessly
As per reliable reports, Jones woke up in an angry state after his ex-girlfriend Sha’Dayla Johnson did not return his calls or responded to his texts.
That same morning, he drove to her home at around 8. am, the time when she usually leaves for work. Upon reaching there, he found her walking towards the door and he had a conversation with her.
Later, when she turned back to go inside the house, Jones pulled out his handgun and shot her at least 15 times. She immediately lost her life due to excessive blood loss.
Her father who was inside immediately came out after hearing the gunshots. He saw his lifeless daughter lying on the ground. Apart from that he also saw Jones standing behind Sha’Dayla’s car.
Before the father could confront him, Jones had already fled away from the location. That is when Mr. Johnson informed the Florida Police.
How did Florida Police Nab Carlos Jones?
As surprising as it sounds, Jones actually went at turned himself in at the Palm Bay police station. He went there for almost three hours after the shooting.
As per Jones, he wants to remain in prison for at least 35 years, although he did not specify the reason. He further told the cops that he surrendered just because his mother requested him to do so.
But the most bizarre thing here is that Jones is not guilty of his crime. He even stated that he would have killed Sha’Dayla’s father as well.
If he were given a chance, he would kill his ex-girlfriend again, claimed the Palm Bay Police. As of now, the Florida man has been booked under first-degree murder and is likely to get a severe sentence for it.
