A Harris County shooting incident happened outside a Studio 6 Motel in East Harris County last Thursday. Harris County sheriff’s deputies responded to gunshots on the feeder road in the 16900 block of the I-10 East Freeway at about 12:30 a.m. and found a dead man, ABC 13 reported.

The victim was found with multiple gunshots and was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. Deputies are now searching for a suspect described as a black man, wearing a white hoodie and dark-colored pants, and nearly in his 20s. Witnesses say the suspect flee the scene after gunshots were heard.
Investigators believed that the victim and the shooter may have known each other and had an altercation outside of the motel before the shots were fired. Investigators also believed that the shooter could be residing in one of the motels near the location of the Harris County shooting.
According to an employee, the motel has surveillance cameras but they do not point in the direction of the shooting. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS or the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit at 713-274-9100.
