The incident happened in the early morning, and when his girlfriend Erika Baylor spoke to Rodriguez at 2:52 a.m., he informed her that he was on his way home. But, by 3:30 a.m., Rodriguez did not reach home. Texas Police responded to the scene at around 3:15 a.m.
Darion Rodriguez was described by his family as an energetic and loving person who enjoyed riding his bike. He also loves to make bikes for others and he shows his creativity in doing so. Rogriguez left his 3 children, Frankie, Bentley, and an unborn baby girl due in July.
Rodriguez’s family is in so much grief right now. The family is urging anyone who has information about the bicyclist hit-and-run incident to come forward and help them solve the case and achieve justice. Rodroguez’s family is also pleading with the suspect to turn in and surrender, they are willing to forgive despite the pain they are going through. But so far, no information about the driver or the suspect car has been obtained.
