The recent tragedy in Italy, Texas, where three children lost their lives and two others were injured during a Texas Child Protective Services visit, has left many shocked and saddened. According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, a social worker had visited the home to get the children, but upon the arrival of the police officer, they found three children dead and two others seriously injured. The suspect, identified as Shamaiya Deyonshana Hall, has been arrested and charged with three counts of capital murder.

It was later confirmed that all five children were siblings who had previously been placed by CPS under the guardianship of another relative.
