DeSantis Discusses Opposition to Democrats’ Far-Left Ideology, No Confirmation for Presidential Candidacy

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shared that he led the state’s drive to challenge the Democrats’ far-left philosophy in “all arteries of society” shortly after eliminating Disney’s self-governing status in Sunday Morning Futures. Questions about his presidential bid in the 2024 elections have not been answered, though.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District, where Disney World is located, has been renamed the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District as a result of legislation that DeSantis signed last month, HB 9B.

DeSantis wants to safeguard the liberties of his people to prevent the left from using corporate America, the government, or academic institutions to push their agenda on them, according to the foxnews.com report.

According to DeSantis, the dispute with Disney was actually about who controls the state of Florida because he had been in charge for 60 years. He claimed that a new sheriff had arrived in town and that the rounds had been fired with great clarity. Moreover, Disney’s exemptions from state regulatory reviews, the Florida construction code, and the Florida fire protection code were canceled by the bill.

DeSantis made his first journey to Iowa on Friday morning. By 8 a.m., a sizable crowd had gathered outside the Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, and it snaked through the atrium as Iowans fought for position to catch a glimpse of DeSantis.

He praised Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds as he addressed the large crowd in Davenport. DeSantis lingered behind after the Davenport event to greet and pose for photos with his adoring public.

Although he has not declared a bid for the presidency, his actions are significant in the state that hosts the nation’s first presidential caucus, where Iowa Republicans will significantly influence choosing the party’s nominee.
