Hunter Chase Nance of China Grove is now facing false imprisonment and other charges
A North Carolina man allegedly abducted a woman and told her he wanted to kill and mutilate her “for the thrill”. His words eerily showed an interest in cannibalism.
Hunter Chase Nance, 24, met a woman at a gas station and they allegedly exchanged numbers. Later, Nance picked her up and brought her to his home in China Grove, 35 miles northeast of Charlotte. According to local WBTV, he allegedly locked her inside and attacked her with a knife when they arrived. The North Carolina man reportedly told her he was interested in cannibalism. He threatened to chop her and display her dead body to people driving by.

Luckily, the woman escaped from Nance’s house and she was found by his neighbors staggering down the street. The neighbors immediately called 911 and reported the incident.
According to Fox News, Nance’s neighbors were shocked and terrified about the incident. Paula Fullbright, Nance’s next-door neighbor told the police she couldn’t believe what happened and that it could’ve ended up worse. She was thankful that the woman was strong enough to get away.
Richard Dawson, another neighbor told the police that people in their community were scared.
Nance is now held under police custody with a bond set to $600,000. He is facing charges of false imprisonment, first-degree kidnapping, and assault with deadly weapons.
