Officials in South Carolina have arrested William Haven Hicks on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a missing woman he had met on social media.
According to police, KC Johnson was last seen on Friday, Jan. 13, on the 1300 block of Tradd Court in Wilmington, and was reported missing by her family after she failed to return home.
According to authorities, Hicks and Johnson had met on social media before her death and had plans to meet in person. After an intensive search, the woman’s body was found in a remote area on the city’s outskirts.
