A special education teacher from Texas has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student. Emily Marie Anderson was a teacher at Canyon High School situated in New Braunfels, Texas.
After the victim’s mother revealed the intimate messages between the two she informed the police. After months of investigation, the accused finally admitted that she has committed the crime hence punished accordingly.
What did the Texas teacher do?
As per the reports, Canyon High School special education teacher Emily Marie Anderson was detained by the New Braunfels on August 2021 for maintaining a sexual relationship with a student of the school. The illegal connection has been revealed by the victim’s mother after she got to read the texts between her son and Anderson. In December 2021, she was charged with the allegations of sexually assaulting a child and a second-degree felony.
The 35-year-old teacher has reportedly got sexually involved with the victim in the closet of biology class. Later on, both were also engaged in an explicit conversation on the phone which was discovered by the mother of the student. She immediately contacted the police of New Braunfels, Texas.
The mother has expressed her disgust regarding the issue and told that her son is suffering from serious anxiety. She further state that the act wasn’t expected from the teacher.

What are the restrictions made on the teacher?
Emily Marie Anderson admitted to her crimes on Monday and is supposed to spend two months behind the bars and 10 years of probation. Along with that, she has to spend 500 hours of community service and pay a fine of $2,000.
Sources state that Anderson will be considered a sex offender for her life. Furthermore, she is also restricted to contact the victim at any cost.
