After attempting to kill his mother, Tobias “Toby” Jacob Brewer, 17, was charged by Brevard County with first-degree attempted murder. When his mother asked him to clean his room, the teen allegedly beat and stabbed her until the frying pan’s handle broke.

Brewer confessed to robbing his mother of her car keys and taking cash from her purse to have some money once he left the area, a source posted,
Brewer ran away from the crime scene and gave police a long chase. Brewer’s case was eventually transferred to adult court after his arrest and booking into a juvenile detention facility on November 30.
