Daniel Gaudin and Shannon Rule, a young coupled have pleaded guilty to attempting to murder the latter’s ex-boyfriend in Waltham Forest.
Waltham Forest’s Broad Daylight Shooting Criminals Identified
A 25-year-old man was shot mercilessly in broad daylight in Waltham Forest on June 2022 this year. After extensive investigations, the cops finally got their hands on the actual crime propellers.
Daniel Gaudin and Shannon Rule committed the heinous crime together. As per reliable sources, the victim was Shannon’s ex-boyfriend and Daniel was jealous of him.
He thought that Shannon still loved her ex and is in a secret relationship with him. That is when he asked her to send the victim a fake reconciliation invitation.
When the victim accepted it and came to meet the woman, Daniel appeared out of nowhere and shot him multiple times.
The aftermath of the Waltham Forest Incident
After shooting the 25-year-old man, the couple got nervous and tried to run away from the scene. By then, the passers-by who witnessed the incident had already informed the police.
When the police apprehended them, Rule tried to put the blame on the boyfriend by stating that she did not have any idea that he was possessing a gun.
But the cops discovered their chats where it was confirmed that they had plotted the entire incident with an intention of killing the victim.
After multiple hearings, the couple accepted their crime and revealed the reason behind it. They will get their final sentence from Kingston Crown Court on January 19, 2023.
As for the victim, he was lucky enough to come out alive after this incident. But he has not yet recovered and is still undergoing treatment.
The doctors treating him have claimed that the injuries were terrible and the aftermath is going to stay for him his entire life. There are chances that he might need external support to conduct his day-to-day activities.
The Waltham Forest shooting has proved that jealousy and insecurity in human relationships always lead to severe consequences.
