Teen Allegedly Stabs Mother For Being Made to Clean Own Room
According to a published post by True Crime Daily, using an urgent ping of the suspect’s cell phone, police eventually located Brewer, WKMG reported. Volusia County deputies attempted to enforce a traffic stop, but Brewer fled and ended up crashing into a wooded area. Brewer allegedly tried to run away with his girlfriend but was later discovered and arrested.
In an interview, Brewer said he was angry at his mother for “constantly bugging her” about cleaning his room. He eventually confessed to stabbing his mother several times and hitting her head with a frying pan until the handle broke, according to WKMG. After the attack, Brewer allegedly took her mother’s car keys and stole money from her wallet.
Brewer was incarcerated at the Brevard County Jail on December 15 for conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, absconding against the safety of life/property, and major auto theft, records show. He is still held with a $17,000 bond.
