A woman from New York has been charged with stabbing and killing her own children out of the suspicion that they have been possessed by demons. The police have been ardently investigating the case.
Young Boy Found Dead by New York Police
On Saturday 29th at around 7:20 p.m., the police received a call regarding the suspicious behavior of a woman that has been observed by her neighbors. Later they heard her husband screaming for help.
As described by The Sun, the 22-year-old mother Dimone Fleming has been taken under custody with the charges of stabbing and killing her two kids of 3 years and 11 months.
When the police reached the scene following a phone call, the mother was found naked on the third floor of the apartment behaving abnormally but without any weapons. The report states that the father of the kids, Columbus Canada found their bodies in the bathtub piled with clothes. Columbia Presbyterian Hospital declared the kids dead.
Police have charged the mother with allegations of two murders of kids below 11 years- DeShawn Fleming and Octavius Canada. Nevertheless, the father hasn’t fallen into the suspect’s list by the police.
Mother Seen Disturbed Before Committing Crime
According to Christian Post the neighbors of the New York-based Fleming and Canada family have reacted to the case diversely. Some have shed light on Dimone Fleming’s challenging mental condition and a few have stated that Fleming thought her kids were possessed by the devil.
Her father has mentioned to the police about his daughter discussing that the relationship between her and Canada wasn’t smooth on days before the murders occurred. He further revealed that the couple wasn’t comfortable staying in a family shelter.
The neighbors of Fleming stated that the murders could have been stopped if the red flags were noticed on time. The mother of the kids wasn’t in the best of mental state. Another neighbor mentioned that, the mother acted unusual on days but nobody took it seriously. New York Police Department is yet to provide further information regarding the case.
