Unvaccinated TikToker Films Video, Tells Followers To Get Vaccinated – Later Dies

A TikToker filmed her last video while in the hospital for COVID-19 and uploaded it on the video-sharing platform. She encouraged her followers to get vaccinated. Later, the TikToker died from the deadly virus.

In a video, Megan Alexandra Blankenbiller shared, “I don’t have a lot of energy for talking, so I’m going to try and make this quick. I’m going to be taking a couple of breaks.”

She uploaded the video, and it has since been viewed more than 850,000 times. Blankenbiller revealed in her video that she did not get vaccinated and clarified that she was not an anti-vaxxer, but she did not get vaccinated yet because she was doing her research.

“I was scared, and I wanted me and my family to all do it at the same time. And as I’m sure you guys know, it’s hard to get everyone to agree on something if people feel differently,” she said in the video.

However, in the middle of her video, she pointed out that not getting vaccinated was a mistake. Expressing her regret that she waited to get vaccinated, Blankenbiller encouraged her followers not to wait any longer and get the available vaccine “Because hopefully if you get it then you won’t end up in the hospital like me,” she said.

Blankenbiller died later. Her sister, Cristina, took to Facebook to announce and confirm the TikToker’s death.

In her social media post, Cristina wrote that Blankenbiller was a beautiful person who gave her everything to anyone in need. She further called her sister a “light to all around her and brought joy to everyone she met.”

Cristina also shared with NBC News through Messenger that she and her family already had an appointment to get vaccinated even before Blankenbiller was hospitalized. Some of them tested before their vaccine appointment, and Blankenbiller exhibited the worst symptoms.
