Sheridan Dutton Dryden Died

Sheridan was born on November 12, 1996, to Matt Dryden, Jr., and Debbie Revels Dryden. Sheridan enjoyed dance, pageant competitions, and cheerleading at Marianna High School. She participated in student government, FFA, BETA, and the National Honor Society at MHS. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mainna.


She liked collecting things – beanie babies when she was younger and porcelain dolls as she grew older. She also loved Disney movies. Sheridan is survived by her parents, daughter Aubree, son Ja’Kobe, brother Laramie (Kayla), grandmother Nancy Hirst, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Private services were held Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Rivertown Community Church, with Rev. Paul Smith, Dr. Nathan Atwood, Jill Berquist, and Kenny Williams officiating.

Interment followed in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Sheridan’s memory to Sumter County Cattlewomen, Cindy Revels Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 131, Webster, FL 33597.
