The South African government established the well-known National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) to assist qualifying students in pursuing higher education. NSFAS 2024 Application Requirements:

The following materials are necessary to complete your NFSAS grant application for the fiscal year 2024-2025. When attempting to complete out the NFSAS application form, you will be required to submit a few critical documents. A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required to apply for NFSAS financing. You need also have copies of your ID from your guardian, parents, or spouse when completing the application form. You must also provide proof of your income, a year’s worth of IRP5, and income proof from your parents, guardians, or spouse.

 If the Department of Social Development concludes that you are a vulnerable child, you must complete and sign a Vulnerable Child Declaration Form.
