Who was the Charles University Gunman in Prague, David Kozak?
According to news sources from the Czech Republic, David Kozak, a 24-year-old student at Charles University’s campus in Prague, is suspected of carrying out a mass shooting rampage on December 21 that resulted in at least 15 fatalities as students leaped out of windows in terrifying moments recorded on camera.
In connection with a violent death case in the town of Kladensko, the police declared a search for David Kozák on Thursday afternoon. Later on, it was evident that the guy on the run was the gunman who had shot and murdered 10 persons at the Faculty of Philosophy in Prague that afternoon, as reported by Novinky.cz, a well-known news website in the Czech Republic. The suspect’s name was listed as Davidu Kozákovi in Czech on the news website.
During the day, the number of casualties increased. Lidovky.cz, a Czech-language news website, reports that the mass shooter left at least 24 persons injured and dead in a press conference held by Czech police. The shooter was identified as David K. from Kladensk by Idnes.cz, another website in the Czech language. Kozak’s father was the first victim, the BBC said. The Czech Republic has never seen a mass shooting this bad, according to the BBC.
Police Report:
According to the BBC, police acknowledged that “the shooter was inspired by analogous massacres that have taken place abroad.” Verifying a Telegram account under the shooter’s identity is a major task for Heavy. The Russian-language account has received a lot of social media shares. The first entry, dated December 9, says, “I’m going to use this as my diary as I approach the school shooting.”
Writing, “I always wanted to kill, I thought I would become a maniac in the future,” the author revealed his motivation for mass shootings in the Telegram account. It dawned on me then, after Ilnaz carried out the shooting, that mass murders were far more profitable than serial killings. I waited, dreamt, and wanted while I sat. Russian school shooter Ilnaz Galyaviev. The validity of the account hasn’t been confirmed by officials yet, though. I detest the world and wish to cause as much suffering as I can, says a different message on the Telegram page.
