Meghan King puts an end to publicizing her romantic relationships; Says, Falls ‘Somewhere on the Gay Spectrum’

During her appearance on The Tamron Hall Show with Tamron Hall, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star said, “I’ve decided to stop showcasing my relationships on social media. I no longer want them to define me.” She continued, “When you search my name online, all you see are these relationships, and I’m moving beyond that. Most of the time, when I’m in a relationship, my life can be intimidating to others.”

King’s marriage to former baseball player Jim Edmonds, her ex-husband, came to an end in October 2019, concluding with their divorce finalized in May 2021. Following this, she entered into a swift marriage with Cuffe Biden Owens in an October 2021 ceremony, with the attendance of Owens’ uncle, President Joe Biden, and First Lady Jill Biden. This rapid and intense union was annulled the following July, prompting King to reevaluate her approach to sharing her personal life online.

When questioned by Hall, who is 52 years old, about her current dating status, Meghan King confirmed that she was dating. However, she made it clear to Hall that she has no intention of revealing intimate details about her relationships, at least not with specific individuals.

“That’s precisely why I’ve started the podcast, to delve into these topics,” King playfully hinted. “But rest assured, I won’t be dropping any names.”

King recently relaunched her Intimate Knowledge podcast, which initially premiered in January 2020 but had not released an episode since April 2021. The first guest this week was Nev Schulman, the host of Catfish, with whom King discussed the world of dating, even sharing a past date experience with him.

While discussing open relationships and ethical non-monogamy, Meghan King contemplated how her dating life might have been influenced by her conventional upbringing.

“It’s intriguing because my upbringing was quite traditional, and I even attended Catholic school throughout,” she shared with Schulman, aged 37. “But I’ve had romantic experiences with women… I don’t identify as a lesbian, so I suppose I might fall somewhere on the spectrum of sexual orientation. In reality, we all do to some extent; it’s a part of being human.”

She went on to say, “I’ve had enjoyable experiences, but I don’t see women in a sexual way… It’s more like I can be in the moment, but it’s just a passing moment. I view it as something fun or playful, not a long-term or monogamous interest. I can’t even envision a lifelong commitment with another woman.”

However, she emphasized, “When I’m lying in my bed with my vibrator or something, I’m not fantasizing about a woman. Every time, I’m thinking about a man.”
