The NYPD and US Secret Service are huddling to prepare for Donald Trump’s possible indictment in Manhattan after the former president said he expected to be arrested Tuesday and called, according to law enforcement sources, on his fans to demonstrate.
The FBI, state court employees, and the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg have all been informed of security considerations, the sources said.
The Big City braced for the worst as Trump, 76, urged his fans to “take our nation back” in light of his probable trial. Several agencies’ representatives met on Sunday, and it is anticipated that they will meet again on Monday.
Trump stated on his ‘Truth Society’ website over the weekend that he anticipates being charged in connection with Bragg’s continuing investigation into claims that hush money was given to porn star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election.
Trump has refuted Daniels’ allegations that she had an affair with him in 2006. According to sources, the former president’s online call to supporters has put federal, state, and local authorities on high alert.

He wrote on his social media account on Saturday that the investigation was corrupt and highly political and that the alleged hush money payment was an old and completely debunked fairy tale.
“PROTEST, RESTORE OUR NATION!” he declared on Saturday morning. Yoo said that central Manhattan lacked open spaces suited for huge rallies and protests, in contrast to other American cities.
“First of all, New York City is not like Washington, DC., so I don’t think it will be a zoo. You have these large plazas for free, public exhibitions,” he continued.
“It could be very dangerous, Maintaining crowd control and ensuring that nothing akin to January 6 happens will be very difficult for the police and Secret Service,” Yoo continued. Any potential protests should be calm and nonviolent in order to serve Trump’s goals. President Trump should do everything in his power to stop disorderly protests, according to Yoo.
