Erin Burnett, a CNN anchor, acknowledged that the revelations that family members of Hunter Biden received over a million dollars from accounts connected to his Chinese business associates don’t look good for the embattled politician and his family, who are under investigation by the government for their alleged corruption.
The House Oversight Committee’s subpoenaed bank documents, according to the host of CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, showed that money from Joe Biden’s son had been disbursed to a number of Biden family members, including James Biden and Beau Biden’s widow.
Ryan Goodman, co-editor in chief of ‘Just Security,’ was Burnett’s guest, and she questioned him on the revelations. She admitted to him that any layperson viewing these payoffs will believe they don’t look good. Once CNN recently started looking into the subject of Hunter Biden’s possibly corrupt acts, Burnett released his findings. The report’s release, more than two years after The New York Post’s initial investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged misbehavior was revealed, drew criticism from the network’s critics.
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, first made the financial records Burnett mentioned public after he obtained them through a subpoena of Bank of America bank information. The documents revealed how Robinson Walker, Hunter Biden’s business partner, gave hefty payments to “at least three family members” using his bank account.

Biden Family’s Chinese Transactions
More than two years after the New York Post’s initial revelations about Hunter Biden’s laptop, CNN only recently started to cover his allegedly corrupt activities. In January, CNN ran its own report regarding the Biden family’s dubious ethics.
The House Oversight Committee presided over by Republican Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, has obtained more than 10 years’ worth of bank records through subpoenas for its probe into the Biden family.
After going through years’ worth of his bank records, they have narrowed in on Hunter Biden’s friend John R. Walker for interrogation after discovering a $35,000 payment to Hallie Biden, Beau Biden’s widow.
The Republican inquiry claims that after receiving a $3 million wire payment from Chinese State Energy HK Ltd, a business associated with CEFC China Energy, Walker transferred $1.3 million to accounts tied to members of the Biden family. The other recipients of a share of the money were Hunter Biden and Joe’s brother Jim.
