Kody Klimek Obituary:
At the Aurora Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette on February 26, 2024, Kody Allen Klimek, 20, of Peshtigo, passed away. He battled Ewing sarcoma for two years, persevering heroically to the end.
Who was Kody Klimek?
On May 28, 2003, Keith Klimek and Kristy Bohaczek welcomed Kody into the world. He participated in baseball and wrestling at Peshtigo High School, where he graduated in 2021. As an authentic Northwoods hunter, Kody loved fishing, hunting, and playing cards with his friends and family at camp.
Kody’s remarkable impact on the lives of everyone he encountered is demonstrated by the extraordinary support he received from the community following his initial diagnosis in 2022. His enormous smile and contagious attitude brightened the entire room. He was a natural attention-getter; he was full of jokes and anecdotes. We shall never forget the happiness he brought into our lives.
Father Keith and mother Kristy, brother Karson, best friend (and dog) Remmy, grandparents Cliff (Mary Ann) and Debbie Bohaczek, aunts and uncles Kevin (Jennifer) Klimek, Clint (Val) Klimek, Kurt (Melissa) Klimek, Ken (Shannon) Klimek, Tom (Jean) Bohaczek, and Marc (Shannon) Bohaczek, as well as numerous cherished cousins and a special friend Abby Garrigan, are all living tributes to Kody. Bill Bohaczek, his grandpa, passed away before him.
