Septain Raharja died on 10 February 2024 at the age of 35 years in Subang, Java, Indonesia. Septain Raharja’s cause of death was Stuck by lightning.
He was struck by lightning during a friendly match between 2 FLO FC Bandung and FBI Subang on the evening of February 10th. Lightning suddenly hit him around 4:20 PM, causing severe burn injuries. Sadly, he became the second Indonesian footballer to be struck by lightning within a year.
His passing marks the second incident in 12 months where a footballer was struck by lightning in the country. He was still breathing after the lightning strike and was quickly taken to the local hospital. However, despite efforts, he couldn’t survive and passed away during the ride.
