What is Shaney Warehime Cause of Death?
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Shaney R. Warehime Gohl, a beloved 38-year-old Baltimore paramedic, who died over the weekend. The Baltimore City Fire Department confirmed Gohl’s death on Thursday, Feb. 15, prompting an outpouring of grief and support from local emergency crews and community members, according to Baltimore Police Department Det. Freddie Talbert, officers responded to a call at a Light Street location shortly before 2:25 a.m. The call indicated a non-breather, eventually identified as Gohl. When officers arrived, they noticed off-duty firefighters attempting CPR on Gohl before transferring her to Shock Trauma.

A witness, who was with Gohl and another buddy at The Night Shift pub earlier that evening, described their behavior. According to Baltimore Police Department Det. Freddie Talbert, the witness, stated that they left the establishment around 1:30 a.m. The witness also told police that Gohl had consumed so much alcohol that she needed help getting out of the car when she left the pub. Talbert further stated that during this procedure, the witnesses knew that the paramedic was no longer breathing. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, they immediately sought aid, resulting in Gohl being transferred to the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit in stable but critical condition. Homicide detectives are investigating the murder of Paramedic Shaney Warehime Gohl, according to Det. Freddie Talbert of the Baltimore Police Department. However, this is not a homicide investigation. Talbert emphasizes that the engagement of murder detectives is a routine procedure, as they thoroughly investigate every death and major assault case that might end in death.
