Daughter of Bryce Weiner, Unsolved Mystery, Case Details:

Maggie Grace, the daughter of Bryce Weiner, was abducted in August 2010. She left in the afternoon for a bike ride and never returned. She was living in a peaceful community with relatively few crimes committed there.

She was fourteen years old when she was abducted. Someone tricked her into going over the border into Mexico. She was unable to get in touch with anyone as the abductor took away her ability to use mobile devices. She was imprisoned 3000 kilometers from her home in Mexico, where she was not allowed to leave the house. She didn’t even have any money. Maggie suffered horrifying physical and psychological abuse.

Bryce had little assistance from the authorities either. The local authorities did not handle the event as an abduction. They called it a runaway in peril. After three years with no response, Bryce took matters into his own hands. He traveled 5,000 miles by car from Los Angeles to Coyotepec, Mexico.

The daughter of Bryce Weiner was able to flee in the middle of the night throughout all of this, but she was unaware that her father was in Mexico. After three years, Maggie rushed barefoot to the US embassy to see her father, Bryce Weiner.

Bryce shared the “real-life Taken” narrative on Facebook in November 2013. He said, “To all those who gave up, walked away, told me I should be humiliated, told me I was insane, turned their back, or told me it was impossible… You were not correct. In August of 2010, my daughter vanished from our tranquil suburban neighborhood. Bryce addressed the subject of X in 2021. After three years, or eight years ago today, I defied the CHP, FBI, and State Department by traveling 5,000 miles into Mexico and accomplishing an unimaginable feat.
I took her home with me.
