Amanda Harms, a teacher in Muskogee, went missing on Saturday and has now been discovered dead. On Thursday, the Muskogee Police Department verified that her corpse had been found. At Muskogee Public Schools, Amanda Harms, 46, worked as a teacher.
Reason for Death:
According to the authorities, Amanda Harms was found in a house’s backyard by a civilian. At around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, she walked away from the 4400 block of Denison, according to the Muskogee Police Department.
Harms weighed fifty-seven pounds, was 1.60 meters tall, and had blue eyes and brown hair. Her most recent appearance included a gray jacket, a black beanie, and pink and black gloves. When Muskogee Public Schools learned about Harms’ passing, they issued a statement.
The superintendent of Muskogee Public Schools, Dr. Jarod Mendenhall, said that on Thursday, January 18, 2024, they learned of Amanda Harms’ demise with sadness. Ms. Harms taught math to sixth graders at the Sixth and Seventh Grade Academy for the previous two years.
Dr. Mendenhall conveyed their sorrow and urged everyone to remember and pray for Ms. Harms’ family.

Ms. Harms, a beloved Muskogee teacher, vanished from view after walking from her house on Denison Street. The public was urged to assist in the community’s extensive search for information on her whereabouts.
Her corpse was tragically discovered in a West Martin yard. Her death is being looked at as a cause of death. As soon as the community learned about her loss, condolences for the much-loved teacher started to arrive.
