Before joining, he appeared in 80 games for the Football Conference. In just two seasons, he scored 28 goals and made 98 appearances for St Albans City, where he became a fan favorite.
He then gave performances for Dagenham & Redbridge and Margate. 2009 saw him join Whyteleafe. Piper’s former team, Gillingham, released a statement about his demise in January 2024.
