One was killed in a Kansas City shooting on Christmas Eve. Let’s Find Out What happened.

On Sunday morning, two persons were shot, and one was murdered near the junction of 8th and Olive Street in Kansas City. Police in Kansas City were alerted to a shooting near the Abundant Life Apostolic Church at 10 A.M.

When authorities arrived, they discovered a man who had been shot but was still alive. According to police, he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another person shot was discovered inside a vehicle parked close to the street, and that victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.

The KCPD is investigating this homicide and requests that anybody with information contact homicide detectives at 816-234-5043. It is also possible to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. While no one has been arrested yet, police say they have detained several people while investigating. They seek witnesses and anyone with information to contact the police or Crime Stoppers. According to police, the mall will reopen on Tuesday, as planned, following the vacation.
