Police: Man reported missing in Longview found dead

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – A man reported missing on Saturday has been found dead north of Longview.

Marteleus DeShon Epps, 37, was found dead on Sunday, according to Longview Police Public Information Officer Brandon Thornton.

Police announced a search for Epps at about 10:45 a.m. Sunday. According to a post from the police, he left his home in a gold 2006 Lincoln pickup truck. He was reported missing on March 18 by a family member.

Upshur County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the death investigation, and there is no immediate indication of foul play in this matter, police said. They also thanked those who assisted with the earlier missing person search.
