Gwinnet County Police Ask Public For Help In Finding Suspect In The Homicide Of A 22 Year Old Texan Man

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA— Gwinnett County Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect they believe is responsible for the death of Alinton Joel Riveria-Zuniga, 22, of Texas. The victim died in the hospital after being shot in the head on Nov. 27, 2022, detectives said.

Detectives say they believe the suspect has used the name Brayan Duarte and Brayan Sanchez. The suspect was seen leaving the scene of the homicide, getting into a maroon Nissan Pathfinder.

The shooting took place at Estates Court in Norcross. Police officers from the West Precinct responded to a person shot call on Nov. 27 around 6:45 a.m. Police  found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head. He was identied as Alinton Joel Riveria-Zuniga. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died at the hospital, authorities said.
