Experts questions Trump administration after book reveals Melania sat in situation room for major military operation

After a new book revealed that former First Lady Melania Trump sat in the Situation Room during a significant military operation in October 2019, experts criticized the Trump administration.

Warnings

Soldier Secretary: Warnings from the Battlefield & the Pentagon about America’s Most Dangerous Enemies, written by former acting defense secretary Christopher Miller, was released on Tuesday.

Melania encouraged the administration to increase the engagement of a dog that participated in the operation when she was in the Situation Room watching the raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, The Hill said.

In 2019, Miller served as the president’s special assistant on counterterrorism and international threats. In his autobiography, he claims that Melania attended the Situation Room meeting with former President Donald Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, and General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Her attendance was unexpected, to put it mildly, according to Miller. If news spread that the first lady had dropped by to see a significant military operation, I wondered how it would be covered by the media.

People started making predictions about what might happen, and one particularly violent one reportedly caused Melania to “look up in shock,” according to Miller.

After using an explosive vest to blow himself up while carrying two of his children and murdering two of his wives, al-Baghdadi was captured by American forces and a combat dog named Conan.

In response to Trump’s concern that ISIS would claim the two ladies were not guilty, General Milley said that they would fully demolish the structure. Miller reports that Donald Trump then inquired as to how the remains would be handled.

Then, when the then-president inquired as to how they could proclaim the operation’s success, Ms. Trump suggested that he make a speech in the Diplomatic Room the next day when the Sunday political shows were on.

According to Mr. Miller, she advised Donald, “You should talk about the dog.” “Dogs are loved by everybody.”

Conan was then honored at a White House event the following month after Mr. Trump described the dog as “beautiful” and “gifted” at the press briefing the next day.

Masha Gessen wrote a story for The New Yorker headlined Conan, the Gender-Fluid Hero Dog when it was subsequently discovered that Donald had misidentified the canine’s gender or that the wrong dog had been taken to the White House.

Gessen reported that Kellyanne Conway, the president’s counselor, “refused to commit to a gender for Conan.” Upon being prodded by reporters on Tuesday, she responded, “I won’t do that because you’ll claim that I was discussing someone’s sex or gender, so I’m not doing it.”

Larry Pfeiffer, a former chief of staff at the CIA and director of the White House Situation Room, tweeted: “Hmmm…what would I have done if President Obama had brought Michelle into a delicate discussion there? I’m not sure. Never had to consider it since it would have NEVER occurred.

Melania in the situation room, top-secret materials at Mar-a-Lago that Donald was aware of and refused to return, according to former US Attorney Joyce Vance. Donald demanded the notes from the translator be erased during their private sessions with Putin. National security during the Trump administration was a nightmare.

Questions

What further foreign military actions did the former first lady participate in?

In a story for the publication, Vanity Fair political correspondent Bess Levin questioned.

Mr. Trump “has a well-established contempt for animals in general and dogs in particular,” said Ms. Levin.

According to The Washington Post, every president has owned a dog since the administration of President William McKinley assumed office in 1897, with the exception of Donald.

Other Reports, Melania

Former acting defense secretary Christopher Miller’s new book, which is due out this week, claims that Melania was, for some reason, in the Situation Room during the US attack on ISIS in 2019 that killed the group’s then-leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Melania reportedly attended alongside the president, Vice President Mike Pence, Defense Secretary Mark Esper, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, among others, according to Miller.

Her arrival was surprising, to put it mildly, he says. According to a copy of the memoir that was seen by The Hill, “I wondered how it would play in the press if news got out that the first lady had dropped in to see a major military operation.”
