The 24-year-old homeless Nalah Tamiko Jackson kidnapped the twin infants Kyair and Kason Thomass on Monday while their mother was purchasing food in Columbus. Jackson is being asked to safely deliver Kason after Kyair was found earlier on Tuesday at the Dayton airport.
Kyair was Found
Around 1:35 a.m., a statewide Amber Alert was sent out roughly four hours following the kidnapping of the twins.
Following the statewide Amber Alert, Kyair Thomas was discovered safe early Tuesday morning at a parking lot at the Dayton International Airport. A passerby discovered the kid in a car seat between two vehicles in the airport’s metered parking area. Despite having a cold, the child was examined and found to be in good health, at which point the family received him back, a source posted.
On Tuesday, after Kyair was found, Kason’s father, Lachez Thomas, requested that she bring Kason to a secure location from the woman who is thought to have fled with his children. Kyair Thomas, according to Fonda Thomas, needs his twin brother.
Search for Kason
As of Wednesday afternoon, neither the woman accused of kidnapping 5-month-old Kason Thomass nor the stolen car she fled in had been found by law enforcement.
On Tuesday night, city detectives announced kidnapping charges against the suspect, Nalah Jackson, 24, whom they believe stole the mother of the twins’ car while the kids were inside. Her arrest is now under national warrant, according to fox8.com report.
The search for Kason Thomass continued Wednesday afternoon, more than 40 hours after the twins were kidnapped, even though one of the twins, Kyair Thomass, was discovered safe at a Dayton airport early on Tuesday.
Authorities urged the public to be on the lookout and provided several ways to contact them in a Wednesday afternoon update on the investigation.
