Cocoa, Florida; news from the Cocoa Police Department on November 29, Tuesday; investigated a case where a Florida teen ran off along with her 17-year-old boyfriend who tried to kill someone on Japonica Lane.
The officers had arrived at the scene in the home on Japonica Lane; they saw the victim on her back lying in the laundry room doorway, WKMG-TV.
Police said the woman had been stabbed and beaten by the suspect and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Her nose was almost gone from her face from the assault, True Crime Daily,
Based on the report from the outlet; the woman was taken to the hospital by medics. Saying that her son, Tobias “Toby” Brewer assaulted her.
A friend of Toby and another male were supposed to hear a loud clang from the house when she saw the accused with a frying pan in hand. His mom was begging him to stop.
Next, the two left the house and used his mom’s car; while his companions took the Jeep owned by Toby and follow him. The pal had supposedly talked to the police and said that Brewer went to his girlfriend’s house and left with her.
Activating an emergency ping on the suspect’s mobile phone allowed them to track the teen later. In Volusia County when the deputies tried to stop him but the Brewer escaped; later crashed into the woods. But attempted to escape by running on foot but was caught later.
When asked why the suspect went all crazy on his mom and the law; he added that it was about cleaning his room. It finally led to the stabbing of his mom and hitting her with the frying pan.
After he attacked his mom then took the car keys and got money from her wallet. Brewer will be taken to the Brevard County Jail on Dec. 15 for several charges including attempted murder, a bond of $17,000 has been set by the judge.
