Federal Charges Brought Against Middle School Teacher in North Carolina Suspected of Selling Child Porn

According to court documents, a former teacher at a middle school in Charlotte who is suspected of distributing is now facing many federal counts.

Adrian Wayne Taylor, a former instructor at Community House Middle School, was accused on December 14 of two counts of disseminating and one count of having child pornography by a federal grand jury.

Court Documents

According to court documents, the child pornographic material was “sent, delivered, and transferred via every means and facility of interstate and foreign commerce” and involved a kid under the age of 12.

Taylor was detained by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police in February after a search warrant was used to enter his Matthews home on Courtney Lane.

The crime of second-degree sexual exploitation of a juvenile was “physically proven,” according to the authorities.

Community House Middle School’s principal informed parents of the student’s arrest in the following way:

“Good afternoon, families from Community House,

“I’m Principal Slattery, and I have some vital news for our school. My objective is to always create a secure learning environment for all students and faculty. I’ve learned that one of our professors has been accused of committing a crime.”

“Law enforcement is now conducting an investigation, and CMS will cooperate completely with them. I take these issues seriously, and I’ll be working with the police to find solutions that guarantee the safety of all children and are in line with district standards.”

“Please be aware that there isn’t much information accessible right now, but I’ll let you know as soon as more becomes available. We appreciate you helping Community House Middle School.”

Child Sexual Abuse Material

Child pornography, sometimes referred to as child sexual abuse material, is any material that shows children engaging in sexually explicit behavior.

Visual representations are pictures that are indistinguishable from genuine minors in photographs, movies, and digital, or computer-generated images.

The real crime scene is documented in these pictures and films, which are then distributed for private use.

Live-streamed sexual assault has started to come to light more recently. In some situations, people pay to view live child abuse via a video streaming service. Because it happens in real-time and there isn’t any digital proof left behind after the act, this kind of abuse is very hard to spot.
