Ex-FBI agent finds ‘very odd’ and ‘conflicting’ statements from one of the victims’ father in Idaho killings

Jonathan Gilliam, an ex-FBI agent, thought it was strange that Steve Goncalves, the father of Kaylee Goncalves, one of Idaho killing victims, made weird comments about his daughter’s murder case. During the vigil for the victims, Goncalves joked and made rage-filled statements.

Odd, Conflicting Statements from a Father

Steve Goncalves mentioned suspicious comments about his dead daughter Kaylee’s murder which piqued the interest of former FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam. Goncalves has been open with media outlets and has even shared some critical inside information about the case with the public. He has also expressed his displeasure with the police investigation, claiming that no progress has been made in the case.

During an interview with ‘Wake Up America,’ Gilliam stated that Steve Goncalves made a few jokes at his dead daughter Kaylee’s vigil, which intrigued his interest. He claimed that Goncalves’ statements piqued the media’s interest, and he continued making odd and contradictory remarks, a source posted.

One of Goncalves’ comments that caught his attention was when he said, “it was fast, and nobody suffered.” He even joked about lighting during a vigil for four victims.

Sixth Person

According to a police report, the house where four University of Idaho students were stabbed last month may have housed six people. The sixth person was not present when the crime occurred. State Police spokesman Aaron Snell did not identify the sixth person, and it is unsure whether the person ever lived on the property.

Three women who lived in the off-campus house and one of the women’s boyfriends were stabbed to death in the home in the college town of Moscow on Nov. 13. The victims are Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Kernodle’s boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, 20.
