Dallas flight attendant who taped fentanyl to her body before trip enters guilty plea to narcotics charges

After being discovered in the San Diego Airport with fentanyl taped to her body, a Dallas-based flight attendant entered a plea of guilty to narcotics charges.

Terese White, according to court records, boarded the trip from DFW Airport to San Diego on October 4 while off-duty.

She then made plans to travel to Boston by plane and attempted to evade security checks by using her crew member ID.

White was chosen at random for a security check.

She had more over 3 pounds of fentanyl tied to her belly, TSA officials later discovered.

In a California court, White admitted to having drugs in his possession and intending to distribute them.

She might spend as much as 20 years behind bars.

According to authorities, White took a flight from Dallas to San Diego on October 4. She went through the airport’s Known Crew Member line before another planned flight to Boston later that day after exiting the secure section of the airport.

Prosecutors claim that White was nevertheless chosen by the authorities for a routine check. Officers from the Transportation Security Administration discovered many sachets of fentanyl taped to her body, amounting to nearly three pounds in total. According to the prosecution, White acknowledged “she intended to utilize her role as a flight attendant, a position of trust, to accomplish the offense.” Authorities remained mum on the airline White worked for.

White’s sentencing is scheduled for March 24. She might spend up to 20 years behind bars.
