Houston police officials are currently investigating a shooting incident where a man was found dead near Texas Southern University on Tuesday.
According to police officials, they responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting at 7.23 p.m., Tuesday, where they found a man fatally shot at the 2800 block of Blodgett, near TSU’s campus, ABC 13 reported.
Lt. Larry Crowson said that the victim had a disagreement with the suspect in front of an apartment building. The suspect eventually shot the victim.
Crowson said they still don’t know what the dispute between the two was about. The suspect did not leave the scene and was apprehended.
According to Crowson, once the investigation is completed, officers would speak to the district attorney’s office to find if charges will be filed or if the case will be sent to a grand jury.
