A 4-year-old kid discovered slain

There is the killing of a 4-year-old kid discovered slain in a Dallas street last month, and a Texas guy reportedly stands a capital manslaughter conviction. On the early hours of May 15, a jogger discovered Gernon slain in a lane in the southwest Dallas area.

Late Wednesday, Dallas police said that Darriynn Brown, 18, would seek a massive charge in the killing of Cash Gernon.

Brown had already been charged with kidnapping and theft after security footage from the residence where Gernon was residing appeared to show him removing the baby from his cot and transferring him away from the camera before his murder. Authorities said forensic evidence tied Brown to the boy’s death, but they did not say what that information was.

Brown is being held in jail on a bail of $1.6 million.

Brown’s attorney is disappointed by the disclosure of the police’s information

Heath Harris, Brown’s attorney, told the Dallas Morning News that he has been dissatisfied by the officials’ sluggish disclosure of information regarding the investigation.
