Firefighters extinguish flames at Montgomery County building

FIREFIGHTERS IN THE WOODLANDS AREA BUSY OVERNIGHT

Just before 2 am South Montgomery County and The Woodlands Fire Department were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 25911 Oak Ridge Drive in The Woodlands. First units on the scene were met with heavy flames out of all openings of the 2-story brick business/residence. A business on each side was also threatened but firefighters limited that to light damage to just one. Firefighters battled the intense flames for over 20-minutes. The cause has not been determined but will be investigated by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office. While firefighters were on the scene a male who was in the street in front of the home was detained due to impairment.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (Texasbreaking.com)- Around 2 a.m. on January 6, firefighters arrived at a structure fire located in the 25000 block of Oak Ridge Drive in the Woodlands, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.

The South Montgomery County and The Woodlands Fire Department battled the flames for over 20-minutes before they were extinguished.

The Montgomery County Police Reporter added that an investigation by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
