VIDEO: Deputy Sheriff in Fort Bend called to move alligator from the Cinco Ranch neighborhood

FORT BEND/KATY – Monday, June 3rd, the Fort Bend Deputy Sheriff Office was dispatched out to the Cinco Ranch neighborhood to handle an animal control situation.



Upon arrival officers discovered the situation was a little bit larger than they were equipped for, what appears on the video is at least a 6-and-a-half-foot alligator has wondered into the Cinco Ranch neighborhood during the peak of mating season.

Armed with rope and their patrol car, deputies managed to wrangle the gator away from the residences and families and into the back of the squad car.

“Incidentally, he wasn’t the first to resist getting into Deputy Wright’s patrol vehicle!”, stated the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
