UPDATE – The Austin Police Department announced that the two girls, Mariah Cardenas and Savanah Frausto have been returned home safetly.
AUSTIN – Police in Austin are currently searching for two young girls, Mariah Cardenas, 13, and Savanah Frausto, 8, who presumably ran away from home, according to the Austin Police Department.
Austin PD stated that the two girls were last seen on Sunday, June 2 in the 10100 block of Brownie Drive.
It is believed by APD that Mariah ran away and took her sister with her.
Police described Mariah as a Hispanic female, 5’3″ tall, 130 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
Savanah is said to be a Hispanic female, 3’10” tall, 55 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Austin Police Department is urging anyone who might know the whereabouts of Mariah Cardenas and Savanah Frausto to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
